About me

Hi! I’m a User Experience Design student at Michigan State University with a passion for creating meaningful, intuitive, and inclusive digital experiences. With a background in graphic design and storytelling, I love blending aesthetics with strategy to design interfaces that not only look good, but feels right.

Beyond the work

Cooking

A Different Kind of Design

Cooking is my favorite creative escape. I love trying new recipes, especially ones I discover through digital platforms and food blogs. It’s not just about the food—it’s the process, the colors, the flavors, and the joy of experimenting. I often document and share my cooking adventures with friends, sparking conversations and connecting with others who share a passion for food. Whether it’s making homemade pasta or perfecting the classic grilled cheese, the kitchen is where I feel most inspired.

From Kitchen to Interface

Just like UX, cooking is about understanding people’s needs, balancing structure with creativity, and delivering an experience that makes someone feel something—comfort, joy, surprise. I bring that same mindset into my design work: thoughtful, detail-oriented, and always rooted in connection.

Turning the Table

One of my most unique hobbies is painting custom vinyl record players. It’s this cool mix of music, design, and nostalgia that lets me express myself in a really hands-on way. Every record player becomes its own little canvas, and I love turning something functional into a piece of art. It’s my way of slowing down and turning up the creativity—usually with a playlist in the background, of course.

Painting the Users Expereince

This practice has sharpened my eye for detail, color theory, and visual storytelling—skills I bring into every UI I design. It reminds me that good design is more than usability—it’s about personality and emotional impact, too.

My Favorite Distraction

Canoli—my Pembroke Welsh Corgi and built-in best friend. I’d wanted a Corgi for years, and when the timing finally lined up, it just felt meant to be. He’s playful, loyal, and full of personality. Whether we’re going on walks, playing fetch, or just hanging out while I work on a new project, he brings so much joy to my everyday life. Honestly, he steals the spotlight everywhere he goes—and I don’t mind one bit.

Designing with Pawsitivity

Having Canoli in my life reminds me of the importance of empathy, patience, and playful curiosity—all traits that help me grow as a UX designer. He keeps me grounded, and in many ways, he helps me stay inspired to create user experiences that are as thoughtful and joyful as life with a Corgi.
